During the event, 16Lab participated in many 1-on-1 whole day meetings with VCs and Family offices, from across Europe. Afterwards, 16Lab took part in a pitch event in Potsdam. On the next day, 16Lab also visited Berlin Partner, EUREF (a research center for Smart City) and Deutsche Bank Labs. The booth registration fee for TechCrunch Berlin, event pass and other expenses were sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, METI – one of the ministries of the Japanese government.

It has relatively short history, but in just 10 years since its inception, it counted more than 20,000 participants from across the world. This year, the organizer arranged direct flights from the United States to Finland. During the event, 16Lab had many 1-on-1 meetings all day. All the meetings were productive, in particular, the one with the founder of a world-class company. The booth registration, event pass and other expenses were sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, METI – one of the ministries of the Japanese government.

Kamakura, Japan — October 25, 2017 — 16Lab, developer of OZON™ – a platform for next-generation computing experience – was chosen in the top 20 startups within the Innovation Leaders Summit (ILS). It is an invitation-only event for startups and it attracted around 6700 visitors with 100 major companies and 500 startups present. Besides the public pitching, 16Lab also conducted 13 individual meetings within the summit.

The participation was sponsored by the Japan External Trade Organization JETRO. The event attracted around 5000 participants, and 16Lab was honored to be present at the Startup Alley. 2017 marked the largest Disrupt event so far.

Kamakura, Japan — November 19, 2016 — 16Lab, developer of OZON™ – a platform for next-generation computing experience – took part in the Young Leaders Program in Israel. The one-week program took place between November 12th to 18th, and hosted by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and co-organized by JETRO Innovation Program (JIP) – a Japanese government agency. The participation was sponsored by the Israeli government.

The two-week program was hosted by two Austrian government agencies – the Austria Wirtschaftsservice (AWS), and the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG). The participation was sponsored by the Austrian Government.
